The AdventurerNow I see lightning-leaden skies,
I hear the thunder and its cries,
moving forward, left behind, wearily now I do sigh.
In the night my heart does race
and warily I run the pace
to keep up with its quickened beat my soul flying on feathered feet.

and now I find that I do hum,

The StormBlack clouds float in the distance,
pouring forth a grey sheet of rain.

It nears me now and I hear the sound
of the thunder.
One drop lands on my shoulder,
soon they multiply.

Now thousands surround me, drenching me.

Lightning cackles across the clouds
and down it soars to the ground.

The pitter-patter of the rain fills my ears,
and the grey sheet blinds my eyes.

I felt alone, but at peace. I found solace in this wild storm. The Storm

Thought ProcessDusk and Dawn collide,
for those who seek
to turn the tide.
Whose war is fought
internal and to fight
would be eternal.
That which is sought
is peace of mind,
a battle of thought
of unusual kind.
Soon the thoughts crash
and thrash against another
becoming one, encompassing all others.
Unity through discord,
a single thought has now
been formed.
A peace settles,
but now others
prepare to meddle.

Now more thoughts intergrate, and soon the world

DeterminationUpon the path you keep, your heart set still on what you wish to reap.
Through Strife, Disaster, Devastation, you press on, ignoring your suffering, ignoring your fear, you press on.
You reach out to the gentle horizon, you feel almost as if its in your grasp,
that which you long have sought,
through hunger, thirst, loss, and broken heart.
You journey forth even farther,
and though things may get harder,

I feel better now, but I'm still not content with my lifestyle. I just can't seem to do what I have to to get where I want to be. I'll figure it out someway or another....
